Staff Developer

We are seeking driven developers to join our internal IT team!

Summary:

The Staff Developer is passionate about delivering exceptional products on a fast-paced
development team. In this role, the Staff Developer will have the opportunity to create,
improve, and maintain proprietary, cutting-edge infrastructure solutions and products.
The Staff Developer will work on the web apps, mobile apps, and APIs powering our
infrastructure solutions and internal tools.

This role reports to the Director of Development and will work closely with other

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years minimum experience working on a variety of projects - including legacy projects or those built by others
  • Ability to translate business requirements and designer sketches into clear, usable code
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate prioritization changes with leadership as when changes occur
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • PHP - familiarity with frameworks such as Laravel, Lumen, and CodeIgniter highly desired
  • MySQL - building new and interacting with existing databases
  • Angular 2 and above
  • Front End Technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • GIT - Pull Requests, Forking and other functions required for team development
  • API integration - ability to write code to interact with external, third-party API’s as well as contribute to the development of new internal API’s.

Preferred:

  • AWS - using EC2, RDS, and S3 for a production application
  • Ionic (mobile development)
  • iTunes/Google Play submittal experience

Digital Product & Process Designer

We're seeking a passionate designer to join our growing team!

Summary:

The Digital Product & Process Designer is responsible for transforming Gale digital assets into
engaging and cohesive user experiences. Product Designer is responsible for collecting,
researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements.

Serve as the resident expert on all things UX/UI delivering an outstanding user experience
providing an exceptional and intuitive application design, and contributing to developing a
roadmap for future improvements. Collaborate with Gale DEVOPS and Gale Marketing to

users.

Operation Support Specialist

Summary:

As part of the GHS team, the Operation Support Specialist (OSS) administers the Gale platform. Simply put, the SSS helps Gale to be 100% effective at booking shifts. The SSS is the face behind Gale. The SSS is the human and humane component of the system that does everything within its span of control to get the shift booked.

OSS’s monitor what shifts have not already been covered by Gale. OSS's sole mission should be to fill the shift not filled automatically. A proactive “old school” approach is often needed to fill waiting shifts, late call-out shifts, no call/no-show shifts, and late calls for support from the facility. The OSS must use a litany of approaches and tools to get coverage for the previously listed shift scenarios. The OSS must also advise and empower facilities that haven’t fully adopted the technology to ensure that they have Gale profiles and appropriate training on how to use the Gale Platform. The OSS must be responsive to phone calls and texts. You will be handling on average 200 calls per shift.

Education:

  • High School diploma (required); Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor shift needs and assure fulfillment
  • Assist facilities in education about the Gale platform
  • Respond to calls and emails from both clinicians and facility management
